WORLD QUEST RELATIONSHIPS

Snezhnaya World Quest order

Snezhnaya does not have one universal linear World Quest list. The confirmed core is a three-branch fragment hunt that converges on one finale.

Shared starting gate
Eye of Graeae + weapon from Act I
Required branches
Three fragment-producing quest series
Converging finale
Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard

01 / RELATIONSHIP MAP

Three branches feed the Pale Crown Palace finale

GI HoYoWiki's guide for “Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard” states that the quest begins after the Eye of Graeae is obtained and that three parts must be collected through “In the Dwelling of Life,” “Hesperides of Love and Hate,” and “On One Side a Palace, On the Other a Tomb.”

That establishes a convergence relationship: obtain the Archon Quest tool, finish the three fragment branches, then continue the finale. It does not by itself prove that every branch must be played in one fixed order, so this page does not invent one.

Shared gate
Obtain the Eye of Graeae and a weapon during Everwinter Without Mercy
Branch A
Hesperides of Love and Hate — collect one Eye fragment
Branch B
In the Dwelling of Life — collect one Eye fragment
Branch C
On One Side a Palace, On the Other a Tomb — collect one Eye fragment
Finale
Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard — continue after all three parts

02 / SPOILER-LIGHT CHECKLIST

A neutral completion route without claiming a forced branch order

The three branch names are presented as a checklist, not as a mandatory A-to-B-to-C sequence. If the game offers a branch in a different order, follow the available quest; the important confirmed dependency is collecting all three parts before the finale.

  1. Progress Chapter VII: Act I until you obtain the Eye of Graeae and its weapon.
  2. Complete Hesperides of Love and Hate and record its fragment as finished.
  3. Complete In the Dwelling of Life and record its fragment as finished.
  4. Complete On One Side a Palace, On the Other a Tomb and record its fragment as finished.
  5. Return to Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard after all three fragment branches are complete.

03 / SEPARATE BRANCHES

Eye-gated quests are not automatically part of the three-fragment chain

The official Version 7.0 update lists many additional Snezhnaya World Quests, but a shared patch-note list is not proof that every quest belongs to the same dependency chain. GI HoYoWiki separately documents “For an Ice Mirror Fragment” and “Ever Beneath the Waves” as requiring the Eye of Graeae.

Quest Routes therefore tracks those as parallel Eye-gated quests unless a source explicitly connects them to the three-fragment finale. This avoids the common guide error of turning thematic proximity into a mandatory prerequisite.

For an Ice Mirror Fragment
Eye of Graeae prerequisite; tracked as a parallel quest
Ever Beneath the Waves
Eye of Graeae prerequisite; tracked as a parallel quest
Other Version 7.0 quests
Not added to this dependency map without a source-backed relationship

04 / UPDATE RULE

What will change this map

Until one of those events occurs, the map keeps confirmed hard dependencies separate from a player's preferred exploration order.

  • A later official update changes an Eye of Graeae prerequisite.
  • An official quest guide names a forced order among the three fragment branches.
  • A new World Quest explicitly continues or replaces the current finale.
  • A reproducible in-game contradiction is supplied and confirmed against the current version.

FAQ

Common questions

Which Snezhnaya World Quest should I do first?

First obtain the Eye of Graeae and its weapon in Chapter VII: Act I. The three fragment-producing branches can then be treated as a checklist; the cited official-wiki evidence does not establish one universal forced order among them.

Do I need all three Eye fragments for Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard?

Yes. The GI HoYoWiki guide identifies the three fragment-producing quest series and directs players to continue the finale after obtaining all three parts.

Are all Version 7.0 World Quests part of this chain?

No. The update lists many quests, but only explicitly sourced relationships are included in the dependency map. Some other quests share the Eye of Graeae prerequisite without being one of the three finale branches.
